ilovegravy: (i am so emo.)
Okay, while I am not as broken up as I was about Tony Randall (I STILL MOURN), Don Adams (;__;) and a few other people whose names escape me at the moment, haha I must say that I'm pretty sad to hear that Aaron Spelling died. :( the funny part is, out of the 212 shows he produced, I didn't like/watch ANY of his shows, hahaha ok, wait, I take that back, I DID watch/like Models Inc., ahahah (but apparently nobody else did!! :D!!! whee two seasons.) oh ok, wait, also, and Soapdish (which I actually saw in the theaters when I was like 9; it was rated PG13, so I had to go with my dad, which is really weird, thinking back. [livejournal.com profile] shmivejournal and [livejournal.com profile] celendia will understand, haha) but anyway, I guess that technically doesn't count since it was a movie.

Anyhoo, yeah, so I never cared for any of his shows, but I really liked him! He seemed like a super cool and nice guy :D Much like Sherwood Schwartz and Norman Lear, I really appreciated how genuinely interested he was in the television genre, and wasn't just some greedy asshole looking to produce crap. (haha, not to say that any/many of Mr. Spellings shows were MASTERPIECES, but I really did feel like he believed in the shows he was making) And I wasn't like, IN LOVE with him or anything (cuz yikes, I was trying to find a picture of him to go along with this post, but they were all creepy/scary looking, haha), but I probably also liked him because of my affinity for skinny dorks and old guys (of which he was quite both).

I think the real moral here is: IF YOU HAVE A STROKE, GO TO THE FUCKING HOSPITAL. akjsdf;lkasjdf;lkasd (yes, the 'fucking hospital', it's for adults only.) I mean really. And I don't blame him, cuz he's old, and old people don't want to do anything (as my grandma often says "whatever, I'm gonna die soon anyway!! don't bother!!" haaa. so I guess in this case it would've been true, but regardless!!), plus, I'm sure he wasn't in the best condition to be making decisions after having a stroke. But yeesh, come on, ONE of his 93483458459 assistants or handlers or even his damn WIFE should've forced him to go. oh well, it's done. As I was telling Billy, perhaps it was "his time":

billy: NOW how will tori get jobs?

me: god i know
me: actually, i think she got that vh1 show all by herself? haha
me: so perhaps because she "got her wings to fly" it was time for him to go. (wtfffff)

and of course, within MINUTES there were already THREE ytmnds about it, haha

In closing, I should purchase a pipe so I can take fun pictures, too.
